Ok, so it's been awhile. I tend to have trouble making time to add to the blog. As you can see my guy is sitting pretty good now. This pic was taken about a week ago. He finally started rolling over last week. He's actually standing pretty good too, with support. We are working on teeth... hoping something breaks through soon. Lot's of fussy days and nights. At last Dr visit he weighed 16.5 lbs and is now 26.1/4" long.

This is a very quick posting so not a lot of detail. Here are some pics. The professional pics are about 41/2 mos. The others are more recent. Eating is going ok. Cereal and fruit are going very good, veggies not so much.

Back to work

Mommy went back to work last weekend. It was tough for all of us. Mommy cried a lot and Dad seemed a little nervous. Saturday I decided to give him a really hard time and cried for several hours before passing out from exhaustion. I only slept a couple hours before I got him up again.

Sunday was a little better for me. Mommy cried again all day. I stayed with my Grammie all day. We hung out and I slept. Daddy got me again that night, but I was good this time. I slept all night.

Monday was a breeze for me. Mommy did better and Daddy seemed more relaxed. This whole eating and sleeping and trying to keep up with everyone's schedules is hard work.

I am Owen Michael Conner. I was born 2/1/08 at 7:48 am via C-section 'cause I was stubborn and wouldn't turn around. I am now almost 11 weeks old and am growing leaps and bounds. At my two month check-up I had gained 4 lbs and grown three inches. One week and a half later I had gained another pound. I am currently working on my third chin and expanding in the rear. My skin folds increase daily.

I have had some tummy issues along the way but I think I am about to get that straightened out (which Mom & Dad think is great!). I am eating like a pig and now require cereal in my bedtime bottle because I get sooo hungary at night.

Several weeks ago I began to smile in recognition of my folks and shortly after these strange noises started happening. I have recently decided that I am the cause of said noises and am very delighted to entertain myself and anyone who will listen with lots of smiles and conversation. I have also found my hands and fingers (love those things), they are great, especially at 2 am. I have also discovered this great feeling stuff on my head, don't know what it is yet, but it's soft.
